Hickory Rescue responded with Hickory Fire and Catawba County EMS to a traffic
accident with injury and possible entrapment.  Upon arrival, units found a 2 vehicle accident
with major damage, and an apparent head on collision.  It was reported that the other vehicle had
lost control and ran through the median striking this vehicle head on.  Rescue immediately started extrication
on the vehicle seen below.  Rescue and fire flapped the roof, and removed the driver's door.
It was then seen that the patient was pinned in by the dash.  Rescue pushed the dash using
the Hurst ram bar.  The patient was then extracted and rushed to the ER.

A little after lunch, rescue received a call for a MVC with reported PI on I 40. 
As we arrived, we found a one vehicle accident with moderate damage.  It
had appeared the vehicle the vehicle ran off of the side of the interstate crashing
into the end of the guardrail.  The patient was free of the vehicle and was not
complaining of any injuries.
